Who Is Nigel Wilson?

I set up my business in 1998, as a headhunter in retail marketing and design and POS/POP

My career started in retail management, then I moved into retail design and display, working throughout the UK and Europe (for more info click on my LinkedIn profile below)

I’m fascinated by people - what makes them tick, what their values are, and helping them to develop and achieve their goals. Setting up a recruitment business was a natural move for me

I occasionally run training courses for companies of all sizes in the UK and Europe. I have a diploma in performance coaching, and often carry out one-to-one mentoring

I’m tri-lingual, speaking commercial French and German, and in my spare time I run a French discussion group

I’m married with four daughters, and live in Tenterden, Kent. My passions are yoga, cycling, Chelsea football club, and being with interesting, authentic, fun people

My aim is to find the best possible candidates available. I operate discreetly and efficiently, to find and put forward people who best fit the skill and cultural profile

My style is friendly, informal and straightforward. I offer my full commitment. In return I expect regular, honest feedback

I'm readily available, including evenings and weekends

I provide good value. This includes my onboarding process – staying in touch with clients and candidates to help new recruits get on track and up to speed

I will communicate with you during all stages of the recruitment process. This means I’ll fully brief you, I’ll give you honest feedback, and I won’t waste your time.

I will never, ever persuade anyone to accept an offer against their better judgement. In fact I always say that however frustrating it is for all parties concerned, I’d rather a candidate decline an offer at the eleventh hour rather than have regrets three months later

You can rely on my total discretion and confidentiality. This means for example your details will not be sent to any client without your approval

I’m always looking for talented individuals, who have potential, intelligence, spark, creativity, and ambition
