The Role
Work within the Business Winning Team, providing engineering solutions that enhance the Company's tender conversion rate. Solutions will encompass value engineering, reverse engineering, development of full technical drawings to meet a client brief and basic modelling sufficient to allow quick turnaround prototyping.

01 Responsibilities
- To create, maintain and control engineering drawings and specifications in line with the customer brief.
- Ensure that all drawings are completed using the PLM system for global sharing and consistency.
- Value engineering of existing fixtures.
- Re-appraisal of existing fixtures to promote sustainable manufacturing.
- Attend client meetings to take detailed design briefs, and relay relevant information to departments throughout the business, as required.
- Take fixture details in-store and translate these into engineering drawings sufficient for pricing to be completed.
- To work with the Business Winning Development Manager to ensure samples and prototypes are developed and delivered with the utmost urgency.
- To identify, evaluate and action engineering opportunities for existing and new fixtures.
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers.
- Ensure that all development and engineering drawings are completed in line with the company’s global engineering standards and industry best practice. Work with Business Winning Development Manager to provide relevant test reports and documentation.
- Liaise with the roll-out team to facilitate the smooth transition from Business Winning to mass production / rollout.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials and processes to ensure solutions remain innovative and groundbreaking. Liaise with the internal resources to identify and share the most suitable manufacturing materials and processes to meet the combination of budget, timeline and quality requirements.
- Brief sub-contractors and internal resource of prototype requirements.
- Attend prototype review meetings internally and with clients, document all changes from the review meeting and disseminate these changes through the organisation, ensuring that production details reflect these changes.
- Ensure all department documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company policy ensuring that all documentation is finished within the required time.
- Work in accordance with Company core values and actively promote these values through all interactions; internal and externally.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by your Line Manager.
